As someone who was not only a worker for hire, but also a teacher to others it brings me great pleasure to be able to recommend works that will help others with their magical journeys!
TBR Traditional Witchcraft Books I Can’t Wait to Read
1.Only Hoodoo For Beginners Book You’ll Ever Need By- Layla Moon
Hoodoo magic for beginners. Non- Wicca Traditional witchcraft books that make the path of hoodoo easier to understand always captures my attention!
The art of hoodoo is disappearing so it does my heart good to see so many new releasees like Layla’s! The reviews are all rave reviews so I am eager to get to this one my list.

2.Magical Attack By- Gordon Winterfield
I own a few books produced by the Gallery of Magick, and they don’t disappoint. Gordon has no qualms about using justified magic, and calling on the demonic side of things to get it done.
Before you go all hissy cat on me, please remember those “in charge” claimed we were the devils handmaidens, for like ever. So don’t give me side eye, I’m just passing along my TBR list. I happen to feel that Gordon does a lovely job of producing on of the best books on traditional witchcraft, by teaching how to properly handle darker energies while still providing helpful, respectful information.

3.Wild Witchcraft By- Rebecca Beyer
Honest truth, the cover snagged my attention first thing with this book. Wild magic, hedge magic is something that always captures my interest, as an Appalachia girl. Throw in garden magic, herbalism and foraging magic and you’ve got this trained herbalists heart happy!
Rebeccas book lands on my TBR list of witchcraft traditions books because the description of the work calls us to step back to an older time when we didn’t purchase our magical items. It calls us to forage, craft, and grow our own.
Because Wild Witchcraft asks us to step back in time and embrace the wild side, it will most certainly be at the top of my TBR list!

4.Witchcraft For The Home By- Mystic Dylan
The cover on this makes me want to clean my house and spend more time kitchen witchin! 60 plus old school conjure works for the home, sign me up! I am guilty of not spending more time enforcing the magics on my home, so when I saw this it went on my TBR list immediately.
Everyday magic, invoking home allies, and enchanting the home with magic, along with creating a magical sanctuary. Yup, this one goes right along with all my other non Wiccan witchcraft books!

5.Holy Wild Grimoire By- Danielle Dulsky
Hold the phone and shut the front door! ANYTHING that Danielle writes or produces, I have to read or play with! How she manages to bring very old witchcraft books to life in the modern world, never ceases to amaze me.
When I saw she was writing a book of spells to go with the Heathen Bible, I gasped. Full on gasped, my husband rolled his eyes and said, is it tarot or a new book. Goddess love him. Spells, ceremonies, recipes, journaling, all centered around archetype magic.
Because of her Sacred Hags Oracle, I was able to build a better relationship with Baba Yaga. Holy Wild, heathen bible is hands down ONE OF THE BEST divine fem books on the market. I recommend it to everyone! I’m on my third copy, as I’ve given my first two away.
