Hello, ghosts and ghouls! Welcome to my little cozy corner of the web, Booked and Bewitched, where we chat about all things horror and mystery related!
This week we are talking about one of my faves, cozy horror. To be completely honest anything with the word cozy in it gets my attention, but that’s for another day.
What is cozy horror? It’s a fun little subgenre that puts us in “ordinary” places and then hits us with something you know should be dangerous, yet it doesn’t feel that way. In a nutshell, it lets you dive into the dark side of horror, without the typical scare tactics.
With that being said, cozy horror is very subjective. What’s cozy to me, may be terrifying to you or vice versus. With that being said, feel free to drop your favorite cozies in the comments section. I’m always on the lookout for a new cozy to fill my days.

Booked & Bewitched Babbles- So this new cozy horror game, On Dark Terms, looks like it will be an awesome play once they get all the kinks that every new game suffers from worked out. With customizable characters and cat familiar this is a ghost-hunting game I can’t wait to get my hands on.

Booked & Bewitched Babbles- I just finished What Remains of Edith Finch over the weekend, and I have to say it is one of the best games I’ve played. It’s a short cozy horror game, that has creepy elements to it, while at the same time keeping you engrossed with the family and their history.
