Must Have Secret Society Books!

1. Half Truths

Secret Society Girl Books

by Claire Contreras  (Author)

So overall this secret society romance book hit the ground running from page one. Little sister is trying to figure out what has happened to her older brother, so she transfers colleges to find out.

Addictive and bold, Half-Truths pulls us into the world of college secret societies while leaving us wishing for more. If you’ve been looking for a fun new read, I don’t think you can go wrong with Half Truths.

She’s new blood, new money, wrapped up in old style. But it’s not their approval she’s seeking, it’s the truth. The truth about what happened to her brother, and her friend, and the truth about society. She could care less about falling in love, but the star hockey player on campus has other ideas.

2. Misfit

fantasy secret society

by Elle Kennedy  (Author)

Like most teens fantasy books about secret societies, this one is all angsty and full of parental loathing. RJ’s mom marries out of the blue, and ships him off to boarding school to clean up his act. I’ve no doubt all kinds of mayhem will ensue.

Misfits pull us into the shady side of prep school, and all the wicked fun that comes with it.

Hacker meets prep school queen. Throw in that the queen’s former king wants to hang RJ up by the balls, his rag-tag team of friends and ancient secrets lurking within the walls of Sandover Prep. All in all, sounds like a hopping good time.

3. Rival

best book about secret societies

by Ketley Allison  (Author)

You can’t go wrong with Rival, a secret society romance novel hit. Callie needs aid, and only the king of Briarcliff can help her. Too bad he hates her on sight.

Fun, fast-paced drama, full of twists, turns, and secret societies, Rival will leave you wishing for more!

WARNING; RIVAL is the first in a dark romance series with profanity, enemies-to-lovers themes, and mature situations. It is NOT standalone and ends on a cliffhanger.

4. The Revenge You Seek

Fantasy secret society

by Tracy Lorraine  (Author)

If you love books about secret societies on campus, you don’t want to skip The Revenge You Seek. Hot, sexy, steamy, and downright filthy, this college romance has all the readers singing its praise. She ruined him, broke his heart, and ran away. Now they face off in Maddison Kings University, and it’s his turn to tarnish her.

Well, if you love alpha holes this is work for you! The author does warn of dark bully romance, and mature content as well, just to let you know.

5. Gothikana

secret society dark romance books

by RuNyx  (Author)

So I can’t wait to sink myself into this one. Ancient castles, hot professor and student angst, ancient curses, and Dracula vibes. Yes, please!

Sexy, macabre, book about secret societies on campus, eerie and steamy. A must-have for long binge-worthy weekends! Fall into the magical world and characters the author has refined to a razor’s edge!

Corvina has been an outcast her entire life and after the death of her mother, she’s utterly lost in the world. A random acceptance letter to a strange university is her last chance. Vad is a bit of a recluse, and part-time teacher, just trying to get through and stay out of the sights of the castle. But a chance happening has Corvina and Vad locked together in a race to discover why people keep vanishing.

6. Lovely Bad Things

secret society dark romance book

by Trisha Wolfe  (Author)

He’s the devil. Well that does it for me, straight to the TBR list, you say Hades or the Devil and I get a wicked little grin on my face cause it’s always a wicked fun time when these guys get invited to the party. If you’re looking for secret society romance books add this lovely little gem to your list. This is very silence of the lambs vibey!

Halen has to go back to the one man she hoped to lock up and throw away the key. But after the crime scene, and occult-style murder of Hollow Row’s heir, she has no choice but to go to him, Kallum, locked away is watching and waiting for her. The pain will be twice as sweet.

This goody is full of much-loved tropes of crime scenes, serial killers, blood and sharp object play, dark romance, and general dark situations.

7. Ninth House

secret society dark romance novel

by Leigh Bardugo  (Author)

This one kept me up all night until I finished it, which doesn’t happen often for me. Alex is such an odd duckling in her surroundings and as someone who was always the odd man out, she spoke to me on a deep level.

Twisty and full of shockers, I am eagerly awaiting the release of the second book to see what happens in this books about college secret societies powerhouse series!

Alex is the most unbelievable Yale freshman ever. But there is a reason she’s been chosen, and it’s not her outstanding GPA or background. Alex can see the dead, and the houses need someone with her skills. Fun, full of romantic tension, occult fun, and scares along with history Ninth House is a must-read for anyone with a secret society love.

8. King of Corium

secret society romance books

by J.L. Beck  (Author), C. Hallman  (Author)

It isn’t often that fiction books move me to tears. This series did, several times. My heart broke for Aspen, over and over again in this work. And even though her lover is a royal aplhahole in this, he’s a villain you love and hate.

So if you enjoy bully romance, secret societies, and dark academe romance, this one is for you. There are several books in the series.

Corium University is not your regular college. It’s home to the heirs of gangers, mafia, thieves, hackers, arms dealers, and the kings and queens of the underworld. Aspen wants to be anywhere else on earth but is locked in this hell on earth as the daughter of a snitch. The king of this hell is the one most hurt by her father’s antics, and now she’s at his mercy.

9. Order of Scorpions

SECRET SOCIETY ROMANCE BOOK

by Ivy Asher  (Author)

So first thing first, this is a dark fantasy secret society romance book, it has strong volience, graphic content and non-consent scense that may be triggering. I enjoyed this book immensely, until about the last 3 chapters. But, that is just my opinion, and I still feel that the work deserves your time and attention.

Overall I enjoyed the characters, the secret society of assassins, and the emotional kick and growth you see throughout the novel. THE ENDING JUST REALLY IRKED ME, lol, I’m not as emotionally enlightened as our leading lady I guess.

She wakes in a cage, surrounded by terror and darkness, with no memory of who she is or where she came from. Left to die by three masked men, she vows to become the best assassin alive or die before she’ll be sold to the flesh markets.

The Order of Scorpions want her, but they’ll have to do more than earn her trust to have her. They’ll have to earn her forgiveness and learn the truth of her past first.

This post was all about must-have secret society books you need to be reading already!
